It is a huge golden sandy beach, located in a sheltered cove with Mount Isabel Del Torres in the Distance. The beach attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors a year – both locals and tourists from abroad. Lining the beach is a plethora of restaurants and little gift shops.

Caberete beach is one of the most romantic beaches in the country due to the beautifully decorated lights that light up the beach at night. Caberete beach is a couple’s dream come. It is a very romantic beach that hosts a lot of weddings, birthday parties and other events.

5# Playa Boca Chica – Santo Domingo Province

Perhaps the most calm and peaceful beach in the whole country, this beach is located about 50 minutes from the capital Santo Domingo in a small town called Boca Chica. The beach faces in the Caribbean Sea and is beautiful and very calm. Not as much sand as the other beaches in the country, it has a rockier feel to it but a beautiful beach, nonetheless. The beach attracts a lot of tourists, in particular – European tourists due to Boca Chica’s proximity to the capital Santo Domingo. They fly into the capital and make their way to Boca Chica.

A highly rated beach, almost everyone who visits gives it a 5 stars rating on Google reviews, and other places. It is located in the Municipal district of Santa Bárbara de Samaná. Not much more to add other than go! We highly recommend it.
